I like visiting my projects since I like to see the progress of my work. The plants are living material so you have to be patient and wait for the final result. They also need your (or the gardener’s) attention and permanent supervision to get out as much as possible. Plants are also changing all the time; the different seasons make them so different. Almost like you‘ve designed four spaces instead of just one. The best part of my visits seems to be the moment when I see the space being used as I have imagined it and which can be so unpredictable. This shows the designer’s success!
